The Marketing Pilgrim himself has started broadcasting live so that people watching can chat live and participate. He touches on the Google brand, monetizing blogs, and even the free market.

“Give good content, don’t worry about making money.”

One of the most interesting things he had to say was regarding when to start monetizing your blog. He essentially believes that you can start advertising on your blog from day one if you like. It’s totally up to the user.

“Everybody has the opportunity to make money from their blog”

I’m not sure that I totally agree. I know that if you want to make money from your blog that you should be focused on turning it into something that will do just that. If that means writing interesting posts (which it does), then that’s what you should do. If you aren’t interested in making any money from your blog, then it doesn’t really matter what you write about. If people don’t want to read it, so what? You don’t need them to, right?
